Can someone answer me, and fill me in on where the gentile fits into this scheme? Will we still be around to enjoy the new Earth with "God's Chosen"? - PontiusPilate

Have you seen the young girl/old woman illusion? If not here it is:

Do you see an old woman or a young one? Both are there! If you are having trouble picking each out, try focusing on the old woman’s nose, or the young woman’s chin; they are the same.

Who is right? It depends on your perspective and assumptions before you look. The same could be said about whether the world is getting better or worse.

Those who believe that Moshiach's coming is imminent because of the predictions of great sages such as the Lubavitcher Rebbe are lucky to have a paradigm shift in how they view the world. They see the positive developments as signs of Moshiach, and the negative ones as traces of evil that is about to fade away. - Mendy

When was that written? 1549

With all due respect whoever wrote this must be living with blindfold. War is being fought covertly and through scapegoats. Kids are dying daily of malnutrition by the hundreds. Let me know where abundance flows as freely as dust. Based on that principle, the lack of abundance in my life does not support the fact that my house is very dusty. People are too busy worshipping the golden calf $$. They compete for the best toys and therefore have no time for God.
Taking the above into consideration, Moshiach is a little faraway. However because the world sucks and is chaotic Moshiach will soon visit in order to bring order to the chaos. - Moshe Tziyon
